Modding TREES

I haven't cracked the RGB modification of sky colors so far http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=54159&page=3 so I thought I could try with the trees.

No more trees like these:

All I need to do for start is the knowledge on how to replace their textures. However I would welcome any tips on other possibilities of trees modifications.

After I found HOW to do it* it took me 5 minutes (modification of two files).

But I modified only

R_FOR.TGA.dds
R_FOR_T.TGA.dds

then simply exported as tgas and dropped in to \Bazar\TempTextures\

If someone thinks lightness - 50 he can try -30. The originals are definitely too far off.

Summer and autumn. Autumn barely changed, winter - no changes.

Is it possible to make a ModMan package for that? Each of the CDDS texture packages for each season has to have the two files replaced.

For now a pack of modified files. You need to INSERT them into

\Bazar\Terrain\Surface\landtexturesauttga.cdds

\Bazar\Terrain\Surface\landtexturessprtga.cdds

\Bazar\Terrain\Surface\landtexturessumtga.cdds

using Modman's CDDS explorer. Backp the originals first!
