Hi guys, I'm making this post to try and centralize some of the dimensions that everyone knows on how to make HOTAS's for the black shark and the cockpit, I've seen a few on the flight collective but I'm hoping that we can get some general measurements of the whole cockpit as well. Cheers thumbup.gif

I have a dozen or so solidworks models with rough dimensions. I'll upload those along with preview pictures.

I would like to invite you to browse through this Threads - as they contain a full-load of drawings and references about the KA-50 cockpit:

KA-50 panel drawings

Dimensions of the Ka-50 - cockpit

Abut force-trim /FFB for a realistic Trim-behaviour:

Helicopter Force Trim building .. / Two MS FFB2 with Cougar Grip

and of course the "mother"of all KA-50 pit building Threads:Uuuuaaaah..! I have started building now..! - worth reading it from start to the end as it contains so many useful info!

I'm sorry that I can't add some dimensions , as I never use a ruler when I start "scratch-building" something... I do my things that it just feels/looks right. ;) >>>My collective build: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=86015

....but,

I have some small corrections for you:

and don't underestimate the necessary of a working collective-brake. It adds a lot to your level-flight stability when having the Alt-Hold AP-Channel on !

(Something I newly learned after having my collective finished. And using it will soon become a second nature like pressing the trim-button)
