I wish that BlackShark2 upgrade licence is treated the same BS2 standalone.

I fail to see the logic of requiring to treat BS2 upgrade any different from BS2 full. Having separate patches, install processes and now unable to use BlackShark in DCS World beta for people who owned Blackshark original all seems rather odd to me. (i understand when DCS World is released we will get to use it but..)

Maybe there is a good reason for it, but i fail to see it.

Why not just treat our serial numbers all the same. People who purchased the original and then the upgrade should not receive different treatment, in my eyes we should receive preferential treatment if there is to be a difference. :music_whistling:

Thanks.

Why would should anyone that didn't pay full price for their game get the full game?

Isn't that kind of unfair to those who did?

The more logical option was to not have a upgrade at all and just let everyone buy the full bs2 version from the start. I bought both bs 1 and 2 for the reason that I didn't want to have bs 1 installed. Those who didn't mind of course bought the cheaper upgrade version which is fine.

I think it's nice of ED to provide an upgrade as an option for those that supported them in the past. But they didn't have to do that.

I do hope they get the beta version working for the upgrade asap.
