Vikhr and SALVO-mode

Hello all,

 

I've got the latest version of DCS World (Steam) and I've got a problem, or an issue if you will.

I've searched the forums and found a couple of similar threads.

 

Issue: Releasing 2 vikhr missiles simultaneously (or close to simultaneously).

 

Setting releasemode to "SALVO (All at once)", 0.1, 0.2, 0.3 or 0.4.

Setting salvo size to 1, 2, 4 or ALL.

 

None of these settings, or combination of them will release more than 1 Vikhr missile.

However, I've found out the pressing LCTRL+V actually will release 2 Vikhr's.

This is noticable on the HUD, where the Laser guidance circle seem to center itself rather than beeing skewed to the side of the active Vikhr-tube.

 

Anyway, someone stated in another thread that pressing LCTRL+V (SALVO-mode) supposedly would be the same as setting releasemode switch to SALVO and SALVO-switch to about 0.4. But that will not work.

 

What grinds my gears is that there are no other visual cue I've actually set SALVO-mode (LCTRL+V) with the Vikhr's than trying to determine if the laser guidance circle seems centered.

the salvo mode in su-25 and su-25T works just for Bombs and Gunpods right now. the others were not simulated.

The salvo mode is strictly for the Vikhr and is toggled with LCtrl-V as you mentioned. It has nothing to do with bomb intervals or bomb quantities or gun pods. You're right that there is no visual cockpit indication that it has been toggled on or off. It's actually something I mentioned in this thread ...
