  1. hello. any news about working on the external models? in DCS road map topic the date was 2023 for years. but it didn't happen. these two have very old external models.
  2. Sight covers animation does not work when other players open them in multiplayer. my sight covers open normally, but not the other hinds in the server. i took a screenshot of other hind while he was launching ATGM.
  3. my experience with DLSS (and DLAA) was not good too and i decided to switch back to MSAA. yes it increase FPS but the implementation was so weak in DCS. i saw these problems: -general Ghosting and Smearing in different areas. in displays, instruments, external views, objects etc. -texture flickering in different parts of modules even those that are new. in helicopters this one combined with the movement of shadows of blades will make things even worse. -and performance increase exist in empty missions with low amount of units. when engine's problems show themselves after that not that much performance increase. DLSS in DCS needs further optimizations and tweaks.
  4. Sa-3 give warning, it use I band and it is in range. SA-5 and SA-15 are also H band , should be in range. and yes Shilka use Ku band should be in, the C-RAM give warning and i guess it use Ku too. it need confirmation by ED.
  5. after the patch SA-8 radar lock signal got fixed. but still we get no warning from some SAMs. i tested all of them and with these SAMs we get no warning: ZSU-23-4 Shilka, Vulcan M163, SA-2, SA-5, SA-15 Tor, SA-13 Strela, Patriot are not these within range of SPO-10? or simply game bug? because in mig-21 i could receive warning from all of them.

  7. yes there is bug that sometimes AI gunner does not shoot and Petrovich does not release flares. i couldn't reproduce it yet.

  9. yes i read that and it will be a useful feature. but until that update a hotfix is needed.
  10. since 2.9 i noticed that there is no warning signal sound when the fighters or SAM locked on us. spo10.trk
  11. Since a few months ago i see vehicles or other objects like comms tower are visible through the terrain. this happening in both MT and ST. visiblevehicles.trk
  12. since 2.9 network info in stats page is missing. that includes true ping, packet loss, data sent and receive. also ping on scoreboard is no true.
  13. i tested again and you are right. then it might be related to rearming. if you rearm on farp or airfield with empty payload then this happen. with payload it won't. mi-8 back door gunner 2.trk mi-8 back door gunner.trk
  14. i think he means the back door gunner. and yes i tested and its line is missing from crew status page. this happens when you spawn from cold start mode. in hot start it is visible and working.
  15. i can confirm this too. with new update AI does not see obvious targets or it find them too late. in my opinion there are problems with new detection model: the new delay in detection is good but not everytime. for the same area that we are searching there shouldn't be another delay. before this update we could search again quickly to select another target but now we should wait too much and loosing time and it is dangerous when you are approaching target area. the problem is that there is no way to deselect a target and go back to targets list and we need to search again. also adding different skill levels that can change the range of target detection was not a good idea form the beginning. because mission designers can change it without any reason and this affect game play, specially in multiplayer.
  16. thanks to ED for this great update that has DLSS and FSR. with my setup (AMD 5600X/2070S/144hz 1440p monitor) i had up to 60 fps boost with DLSS options without any problem, except those visual bugs that are already known. it also great to have AA options other than MSAA. nice to see updated AI models and updated Kh-29 family. bugs that i saw was the ping in scoreboard which is not accurate. also network monitoring like ping, packet loss and data sent and receive are completely missing from performance monitoring menu (Rctrl+pause).
  17. yes it happens in multiplayer. reconnecting to server will solve the problem for a while and then it will comeback. (i removed all mods)
  18. i see exact same fps drop when cockpit display resolution is at 1024. from 80 fps to 48 almost the half until Vikhr smoke goes away. lowering resolution to 512 and 256 will prevent this. but weird part is that if you already have low fps like 50 fps in cockpit then it will not affect your fps that much. this is in Ka-50 lll Caucasus shooting range mission. over sea i didn't see that massive fps loss.
  19. this is so hard to explain .ok, let's look at these pictures below. this is KA-50 lll but something else is visible when other players take slot in ka-50 lll. -it does not have sensors around nose and tail -it does not have sensor compartments below fuselage -it has different Vikhr launcher -it has laser warning receiver panel, which is visible from outside -it has Igla pylons in this pic number 23 is me and 25 is someone else in another slot. we are both ka-50 lll.( both are same version in mission editor too)
  20. hello Flappie. this bug still exist. no this is not related to that old laser warning indicator. in multiplayer if i choose KA-50 lll slot then i will see my KA-50 lll external model correctly but if other players choose KA-50 lll slots then game shows their external model to me as updated KA-50 ll (new 2011 external model) with third pylon (which shouldn't exist). if you look at pictures in this topic carefully you will see differences.
  21. you are right. problem was that i had this skin before in saved games/dcsopenbeta/liveries/mi-8mt folder and because of that it didn't appear as a default skin in game. i deleted that folder and i can see it now.
  22. i can not see recently added skin of Czech AF. its folder is in mi-8 skin folder, but in game it doesn't appear.
  23. this memory leak problem was there before launch of MT. one example is in Multiplayer, near 40 players, Syria map and heavy mission after 3 hours of playing my page file was near 75 GB. so set page file at least 80 GB. this may help.
  24. Petrovich launches countermeasures even on the ground. he launches them when he sees any missile in the air, even if we are not the target. it would be efficient to have an option in AI helper menu to control automatic countermeasures launch by AI. track.trk
  25. copilot cockpit door open/close animation is not synchronized and there are two doors closing/opening after each other. this is visible from both pilot and copliot cockpits. (only visible from internal view).
