Flying in to support russian forces in sukhmi yesterday i was hit by a M2A2 Bradley mid flight, so I put her down in the center of the city and called the closest Mi-8, which was about 45 miles out, but thanks to the air cover from another Ka-50 and Su-25T, The pilot was rescued and returned home, in a weird way ;D

heh - i tired this with some former squad dies as well and couldn't get it to work… two things could make it infinitely easier.

  1. put a collision detection on the floor of the Mi-8 so the pilot avatar doenst fall through
  2. render the rear doors opening… when the rescue pilot opened the rear doors, i could not see it.

I'd like to be able to walk up the rear ramp through the open doors of the mi-8 but currently cannot. no idea how hard this would be to actually "fix"

How fun would it be to have JTAC assigned to an inf unit - have them "Inserted" by mi-8 and run your mission?
