uboats Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I saw many beautiful terrain mod showing winter snowy ground as example. I tried some and set the date to be 31 Dec. However, in the game, the ground is still green (Sochi, Gudauta) Can anyone tell me what the problem is ? Weta43 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 The sky will change - phase of moon, position of stars, sunset & rise time etc, but not the textures on the ground - as above, you have to do that through the weather interface.. Cheers.

esb77 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Also be aware that when landing airplanes wet, snowy, or icy weather settings make the runways and taxiways somewhat slippery. Landing in strong crosswinds can be . . . interesting. Callsign "Auger". It could mean to predict the future or a tool for boring large holes. I combine the two by predictably boring large holes in the ground with my plane.
