It's a bit hidden in the "MissionEditor" folder of DCS in Saved Games. The default path should look like this:

C:\Users\{Your Username}\Saved Games\DCS\MissionEditor\logbook.lua

Yurgon,

When this lua is in place, this file will keep track of which campaign and the mission within that campaign, correct?? Every time I do a clean install, I am loosing my positions in every campaign which is loaded and having to restart each campaign from start.

Thanks in advance.

Yup, AFAIK that's correct. This file is the central logbook file for your virtual DCS pilot. It stores campaign progress, total flight hours, medals, rank and all that stuff. If you do a clean install of DCS and copy a backup of your previous logbook to that path, you should be able to pick up any campaign right where you left it.

It may happen every now and then that logbooks are not compatible between DCS releases, but AFAIK there have been no incompatibilities since the release of DCS World.

Yeah, restoring a backup of the logbook should solve that problem. Besides, it's always a good idea to create a backup of that file in case of harddisk failure.
