Thrustmaster HOTAS remapping

I recently tried a TARGET profile, which did not work for me.

 

Now I want to remap my HOTAS to default, so i removed the profile files from the Config folder and started up DCS.

 

Now it seems that DCS is mapping the A-10C with the same keys on both Joystick and Throttle.

That does not not look right to me.

I also had this happen, quite awhile ago. I wound up deleting all commands for the throttle and re-mapping. If there's an easier way, I don't know it... perhaps someone else does...

 

The only good news for me in this was that I really knew my throttle when I was done :thumbup:

Delete the folder C:\Users\<yourname>\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\A-10C and that will reset your controls to default.

Any idea why my Saitek Combat Pedals are assigned various buttons like Gun Trigger etc.?

Because DCS has very poor default joystick definitions. My Saitek trim wheel (which is nothing but a single axis) has all sorts of silly stuff assigned to it by default.
