Flogger23m Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Hello, I am currently in the progress of making a retexture/skin for the Su-27, using ED's official Su-27 template, Photoshop CS2 and DXTBmp to convert the files to .DDS. I have previously installed other 3rd party Su-27 skins as well. My retexture has been coming along nicely and I have succesfully imported it in game many times to see how it looked without issue. Although the latest iteration now has an issue with the engines in game: For some reason the issue seems to be affecting other mod skins which I did not modify in anyway: As shown in the first image the issue does not seem to affect the skins which ship with the game. The only thing I changed between the last version and the current version was slightly modifying the camo lines. Does anyone know why this issue is happening and how I can fix it?
LegoHeli Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 I'm the guy who made the Yuke flanker you're using, and I'm not quite sure what might be causing your issue. If you have truly not modified the skin or the .lua at all, I really don't know what is going on. However, there is a slight possibility you have assigned a wrong texture to a wrong line of code, meaning it is looking to use for instance the gear texture for your nozzles (it doesn't seem to be that exact case, but anyway look into it). Feel free to simply copy my .lua and change the name of the Flanker inside it and use the same filenames as I did, test if that works.
