Multiplayer Mission Help.

Hi Guys,

 

Story behind the question:

I used to run a a server in FC2 called Free4play dedicated server, a fun server to say around 1 or almost 2 years back and people loved it. However I had to stop it because of timing issues and studies.

But I'decided to restart the server and I need your help.

 

Finally, Here's what I need to know:

How do I set up the mission in a way so that it will restart the mission and start by it self every 20 mins or so by it self while the game has been hosted?

 

I tried using the mission editors help and well mission restart did work, but every time it restarts, I need to be there to press the "play/pause" button in order for the game to actually start.

 

How do I fix this so that i dont have to be there to press the "play/Pause" button every time the game restarts??

Click HERE Download and install per instructions. Look in the manual for how to set up auto pause. It will pause the mission when there are no clients and un-pause it when someone enters.

I went through it, the thing is im looking for flaming cliffs 2, and..

<Windows Drive>/Users/<Your User Account Name>/Saved Games/DCS Does not exist since its not DCS, but FC2

 

Any idea how to make it work with FC2?

Can't you manually create that folder and put your missions there?

Forget that and use Servman.

You can do it with Servman but if you don't wish to bother with Servman then do this:

 

Goto C:\Program files\Eagle Dynamics\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\Config\ and open network.cfg with notepad++

 

change this line

 

pause_on_load = true,

 

to

 

pause_on_load = false,
