Good day,

I have noticed an error in the A-10C HSI course selector window as seen in the video below.

The hundred is changing for every ten, which i believe is not as it supposed to do.

Please someone verify if it is a bug

I always thought this is due to the mechanical nature of the way the discs are connected. I think, this kind of ... thing (what is the name for such a mechanism??) works that way, that for every full revolution of the "1" disc, a pin takes the "10"-disc one step with it. Then "10" and "100" discs are connected in a similar way. Only the "1" disc is actually linked to the rotary the pilot turns.

The result is some (relatively) high forces/friction/whatnot are applied to the discs, the further they are apart from the "1" disc - causing the effect you recorded.

Actually I always liked that tiny effect - as it shows how much attention to details the devs pay, even if it has not practical influence on the game play... _o)

It's a bug, just like the way the dail sometimes stops in between two numbers, or the way the distance readout rolls slowly to the new value when you change a waypoint etc. (it should be near instant).

But I wouldn't hold your breath as far as it being fixed.
