DLC Question

Hey guys.

I bought Flaming Cliffs when it 1st came out at DCS before it was released on steam.

16.03.2013 is the date that is showing on my purchases on DCS website.

Now i seem to recall that when i bought FC3 that all upgrades were A10/SU25/F15

 

Now i deleted my Web installed version and ported over to Steam as everything is avaliable via using you're Website keys, and everything appears to be there but those 3 i have listed.

 

For instance if i say add all to cart everything is "Already Owned" but the 3 listed.

Am i wrong or right abought those upgrades being free at the trime i purchased FC3 last year?

Hi, i think you should have the updates, because when checking the latest changelog, it says the following:

 

DCS: Flaming Cliffs 3

• Added F-15C Advanced Flight Model (AFM)
  
• Added Su-33 6DOF cockpit.
  
• Su-25: SPO-15 sound is now muted when electric power is OFF.
  
• A-10A: "Minimum Speed" sound is no longer heard during repairs.
  
• MiG-29: EOS has had its detection range reduced to realistic performance levels.
  
• Russian fighters. The angular size of HUD indication was reduced to real volumes.
  
• A-10A: Bombs fall with undershoot in CCRP mode is fixed.
  
• Su-33. Mirrors will have an image reflection.
  
• Russian fighters. BVR. Corrected range of target marks on the HUD.
  
• Fixed issue with Su-33 take-off from carrier.
  
• Su-25. The plate of airbases list in the cockpit are corrected.
  
• Su-25. Missed cockpit textures behind the right shoulder was added.
  
• Su-25. The gaps in the gunsight are removed.

What do you think is missing? Do you not have those aircraft anymore?

A10A, Su25A and F15 are all included in FC3 and completely identical.

Well i can fly those 3 aircraft np's But the purpose of the extra cost of the DLC is the overhaul of the originals. I'm just wondering why Steam is registering that i don't own them. Is it a Steam problem?

For instance Bedouin you own F15. Mine at the bottom of the game screen is soughter greyed out and when i click on it it requires me to buy it. Otherwise it just gives the option for wallpaper like all my others.

If you are talking about the individually sold aircraft, the ones in your FC3 are the same. You already have whatever upgrades are currently included, whether you buy/own FC3 or the individual aircraft. There is no difference.

This. You do not, as you imply, own the F-15, or the A-10A, or the Su-25. These are only the single-plane modules. You own FC3, however, that includes them all (and more).

Steam does not forget to register that you own them.

 

It registers that you own FC3.

 

Everything those aircraft contain, in their updates state, are things you have been given for free as part of FC3. If you have FC3, you have everything. Do not worry.
