Shaman Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 (edited) Reproduction: During start-up at Kutaisi I hear, wind 224 by 5m/s. (ATC/meteo gives to pilot where wind is coming from), however with weather briefing wind 224 by 5m/s AI ATC clears me to taxi and take-off from RWY08! Active RWY due to wind direction should be given RWY26. Wish1: Fix ATC logic, correct active RWY selection due to wind direction. Wish2: Allow player to ask ATC for a different RWY direction, both from ground and from air. joey45 Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 New ATC system is on order. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. vstolmech513 Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Doesn't the wind call show the direction the wind is coming from? Therefore it would be going to (224-180=44) 044 degrees, which runway 08 is pointing more into the wind than the 260 runway? Or have I misinterpreted that altogether?
