I am enjoying playing the modules for DCS world, but now it is time to program the X52. I started off with something simple by programing flaps up and down to the first toggle switch (T1). I have programmed flaps up when I push the toggle switch away from me LEFT SHIFT F, and down, when I pull the toggle switch toward me F. The problem is whichever way I use the toggle switch it puts the flaps down. On the MFD screen, it says flaps up and flaps down when I use the toggle switch.

Also I tried the kneeboard which also uses 2 keys as well CTRL K I think, but that doesn't work either.

I must be missing something simple, thanks for any help.

Don't use the SST software, it's lousy. Set up a profile with all the shift-states removed (in SST, at the top of shift-state column, click the "x") so that you can assign the pinky switch and rotary mode knob in DCS to be modifier keys. Then do all your programming in DCS.

Wait, what? How do you do that? Only ALT, CTRL and SHIFT keys come up for me as modifiers. And although the pinkie is registered as a joystick key by DCS, neither the rotary knob doesn't elicit any response, so I'm guessing it's not being read.
