nalax12 Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 (edited) I have already set it to make it so the dcs.exe and launcher.exe both should use my dedicated card through the nvidia control panel, however it still wont work. My graphics card is perfectly fine as I have tested it with other demanding games. The only way I can think of to force my dedicated card to be used is to disable the integrated one.It also just randomly switched mid game for no reason, it originally DID use my dedicated card. What can I do, is there anyway I could force the game to use my Nvidia card? EDIT: I have tested and it I can only get the limited graphics version working located in the Bin\x86\ to use my graphics card. Edited June 28, 2014 by nalax12
will- Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Now I think I may have this same issue. Just recently upgraded processor and MB. Is there a way to check what card is being used? Intel i9-9900K 32GB DDR4, RTX 2080tiftw3, Windows 10, 1tb 970 M2, TM Warthog, 4k 144hz HDR g-sync.
nalax12 Posted June 28, 2014 Author Posted June 28, 2014 I think I found out whats going on. There are two versions of my DCS.exe, the 64bit and 32bit. My nvidia control panel is mistaking the 32bit and saying use the dedicated car for that, but NOT the 64bit. So its just a problem with my nvidia control panel. to Will above if you have nvidia you can open the control panel and there will be a desktop tab at the top of the program, click that and press "display GPU activity" and it will show you what current programs will be using your dedicated card.
