jetstorm96 Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Alright ive never done this before and I wanna know how. I am having an issue sending my wingmen to my spi to engage. I make a vehicle my spi, then I use the TAD highlight my wingmen press TMS up and click send. I then use the radio and choose Wingmen, Engage with, Ground target, missile, default. My player tells the wingman to engage target at my spi with maverick and he complies roger. But instead of flying to my spi the wingman flies off in some god unknown direction. Is this meant to happen? How do I get it to work
jetstorm96 Posted July 5, 2014 Author Posted July 5, 2014 Problem solved, didn't notice my SPI was not turned on :D
SharpeXB Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 I make a vehicle my spi, then I use the TAD highlight my wingmen press TMS up and click send. This procedure is for using the SADL which as far as I know doesn't work in single-player. It would be great if it did. For the most part if you have your SPI shared and they are within range and have weapons they will follow your orders on the radio menu. Pinefang Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 I haven't used the mark spi option for the wing man before but when I tried to do it I marked my SPI and tried depressing the OSB button that said SPI off thinking that it would turn SPI on but it didn't. So what do you do to turn SPI on. I've never heard this term before.
SharpeXB Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 With the TAD set as SOI, DMS left long will toggle SPI broadcast on and off i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5
jetstorm96 Posted July 8, 2014 Author Posted July 8, 2014 Correct yes normally by default it is a long press of the delete key. Yes this works fin in single player I send my coordinates all the time to my wingman and he unleashes guided munitions on the target
