I know this has been discussed to some extent through the updates, but I would like to let one thing be known. I'm not going into the details of "Well, ED took this over..." as that is irrelevant. Technically, for those who pledged and are not happy with the new reward system they are due a refund per KS.

"Is a creator legally obligated to fulfill the promises of their project?

Yes. Kickstarter's Terms of Use require creators to fulfill all rewards of their project or refund any backer whose reward they do not or cannot fulfill. (This is what creators see before they launch.) This information can serve as a basis for legal recourse if a creator doesn't fulfill their promises. We hope that backers will consider using this provision only in cases where they feel that a creator has not made a good faith effort to complete the project and fulfill."

The pertinent statement being:

ED has done that...

Folks really need to let this go...

ED didn't create the KS, RRG did. A technicality, sure, but they count as well.

It's all water under the bridge now...be happy that DCS/ED took over the project..I mean they could have just let it slide away..without any obligations...since DCS/ED did not start the K/S ..

Let's now look to the future, not that past..

If you have a beef with the K/S'er then take it up with them..
