Thanks for your answers about Steam. I think I'll wait and just keep an eye on Dayz, see how it develops.

Ok, I finally took the plunge and bought DayZ Standalone. I'm a total noob at it but i'm finding it interesting.

I was going to say fun rather than interesting, but the feeling it gives is not one of fun! I like how it lets you decide how to behave, what your morals are etc.

I started off with the intention of being helpful to other survivors but its amazing how fast i have ended up wanting to kill anyone who so much as looks at me. First ever person i met, i went up to saying hi, he promptly stabbed me in the face with a screwdriver. Yet to meet a friendly person.

I shall keep on trying to be friendly but will definitely be more deadly when needs be. Good training for when the real zombie apocalypse happens.

Milli

Lol I have this game, here is how you up your social characteristics in game.

1.) Find mosin

2.) Find stripper clip ammo of the 7.62X54 nature

3.)Head over to berezino and find a good spot under a pine tree

4.) wait for an individual to head in to hospital

5.)Hold breath, Squeeze trigger and say hello!

Note if someone pops out suddenly, skip stages 1-4 and perform stage 5, you will make friends fast!!! Good day :)
