Two things I believe that would really enhance realism.

 

First thing is the SAM launcher smoke trail system. I would love it to be like F4 AF (which is old technology but at least you can still spot the shooter a minute later, errr.....)

 

Second thing,

 

AI should be able to land, rearm, refuel, and takeoff again without punching it to the fence.

 

Third thing:

 

This is because I doubt the real A-10C takes like a minute to load 1150 rounds into the barrel: Please make the rearm vehicle and give reloading the A-10C a realstic timing. I know pilots can fly 3+ missions without leaving their aircrafts but for reloading it should take like 15-20 minutes minimum.

 

Think of a logical number that one could actually leave their cockpit for a 15 minute break and come back to find her fully armed. It doesn't have to be with multiplayer, only single player.

 

Merely propositions but feel free to share your thoughts.

It doesn't have to be with multiplayer, only single player.

If realistic rearm/refuel/repair times are added, they should be available as options everywhere. Right now I'd find it pointless for single player since the AI will only come with you for one flight (minus stuff with triggers and what not). For squad based MP, realistic reloads would be cool.

Yes to one as long as the smoke matches the real thing.

 

Yes to two.

 

No to three. Compromises have to made sometimes with a simulator. You can however change the speed of the ground crew in the ME. Also do you know it takes that long or are you speculating?

Based on the speed that the shells can be seen moving

, I would be surprised if it took any more than 5 minutes start to finish.

When you say; "rearm vehicle" which one do you mean? Are you talking about the MJ-1, MJ-4 or the Ammunition Loading Assembly (ALA)?

 

You can also add "realism" by not being able to leave your desk and only using piddle packs. :smartass::D
