But Collored photos out of this time will be extremely rare.

According to The Blitz Then and Now: Volume 1 SC500s were Grey-Green (RLM02) or Buff (RLM??)

Hello good Morning

Now i did have some luck.

 

It is written that the Yellow strips on the tail are markers for the different type of load.

 

Yellow markers:

Filled with Explosives 13,13A,52(Different types of TNT)

or BB (Composite B)

 

Painting of a Merchant ship + *C 500 Trialen* +*Only for Merchantships* written on Bomb body:

 

Filled with Trialen (Amatol)

 

Such markers where used for all Bombs.

Very Hard Bombs (thick 13 mm Steelbody for deep ground Penetration) did have a red ring around the Bombs body as another example.

About the Colors

 

But i think they have not all been painted Skyblue.
