Crash in landing approach in campaign mission 3

The game crashes after I contacted the FARP and go the first response. This is after I completed the task at the shooting range.

 

I could reproduce this error 3 times now. (At least I can now actually hit the targets in the first try ;) )

 

Edit:

Nevermind, it probably was an improved-smoke mod which somehow triggered a crash long after I had seen smoke.
