KrizzKaliko Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 So I bought this amazing x-55 Rhino, but it doesn't work so well with the SU since the profile is not configured for it. I was wondering if their is a way to disable all of the joystick command and throttle commands/Inputs so i can fly with mouse and keyboard? I hope you understand what I mean.
Thick8 Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 You have a great new HOTAS and you want to disable it in favor of a keyboard and mouse?????? Huh... Just map your functions to the HOTAS. It's easy and you actually get to use your shiny new toy. cichlidfan Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Just go into Options>Controls for the aircraft and clear all of the controls and axis settings for the Rhino devices. That being said, I agree with Thick8. NeilWillis Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Take a look at the "On the range" videos on Youtube. There is a clip discussing how to set up controls for a newly installed aircraft. Just follow the advice there, and you'll be smiling, AND using the X55 to fly the SU.
aeliusg Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 I have to agree with everybody, with HOTAS there is a learning curve, but once you learn it, it is well worth the time and effort. If you need to disable your joystick when you're not using it, however, you can go into the device manager and do so there.
