Cannot See Posted Videos

(Have Windows 7 Pro, 64-bit with a nVidia GeForce GTX 680 video card.)

 

I cannot see listed videos such as this format in Firefox or IE11:

I think these are embedded videos.

 

What do I need to do to see the posted videos?

 

I am fine with a YouTube address.

(A workaround is to view the page's source code and find the listed youtube video longhand; that works. Is a bit tedious.)

Same issue results in Internet Explorer 11.

 

In Google Chrome I can see the embedded videos fine.

 

I usually use Firefox.

 

Wonder what the common denominator is concerning this video replay issue?

Have you checked that you have installed the required plugin? And I think, it can be configured somewhere wether the plugin is allowed to run or not (a per website setting? dunno ...)

 

Do you get any (error)messages? I.e. at the top of the page?

Flash needs to be installed and turned on with Firefox. Click tools then add-ons to see if you have it and if it's active.

Hi,

 

That was it. I added a couple different types of Flash downloaders for YouTube specific and separately for non-YouTube applications in Firefox.

 

Links above now work fine.
