rss0900 Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 (edited) So with the help of some nice people on this board I got my touchscreen working the other week. I'm running 3 monitors in NVidia surround and the 4th monitor is an extended desktop touchscreen. The question I have is say I have the manual open on the 4th monitor and the game running in surround on the other three, whenever I touch the manual to change pages it closed the window with on the surround monitor and I have to use the taskbar to get back to DCS. Is there a way to setup the 4th monitor (touchscreen) so that it won't impact the game running on the 3 surround monitors? Thanks Windows 7 64 bit, 2 gtx 670 in SLI. Edited August 13, 2014 by rss0900
NeilWillis Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Are you running DCS in full screen mode? If so, try running it windowed. There is a radio button that selects/deselects full screen in the general options screen. 1

What a simple and effective suggestion :) Actually it resolved most of the issue. While in the game it no longer closes DCS but when in the menu or mission planner touching monitor 4 still closes DCS (when I say closes I mean minimizes). Any recommendation to make it work while in the DCS menus and not the game itself? Thanks Edited August 14, 2014 by rss0900
rss0900 Posted August 14, 2014 Author Posted August 14, 2014 So what it's doing is when I touch the touchscreen the mouse pointer disappears from the surround. That's making DCS close. I tried looking for a setting to stop this but not sure of which one if any to change. It may just be how it works, looking for others with a similar setup to confirm. Thanks
