ozTRipwiRE Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Hi, I am looking around for a simple, basic guide to set up Helios on a 24inch touchscreen just using other people’s profiles such as the one for the A10C by Cap Loz. I am just a noob at this type of thing and am really looking for a very basic and simple guide to setting up Helios using other people’s profiles and found one by ‘Sim Deck’ on Youtube that he did in 2011 . This seems very simple to me compared to others I have found and I was wondering if that is still ok to follow with the current version of Helios? If not does anyone know of any other very simple guides for this? I saw guides by DerekM for example but they seemed much more complicated than the one I saw on Youtube by Sim Deck, so I am looking for the most basic ones possible. I am also wondering whether setting up a touchscreen will stop my keyboard and mouse etc from working and if so what do I do to stop that from happening? Thanks, OZTRIPWIRE
cichlidfan Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 The touchscreen will not mess with your keyboard or mouse (except when you try to move your mouse while you have a towel on top of the touch screen  ). As for the vid. You should be fine. Though the versions did change there were never any significant changes to the base functionality or interface.
