Jason76 Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Just to be absolutely clear.. what is the scale for the Vertical Velocity Indicator in Russian planes? I know in the US planes it is in 1,000 ft per minute.
RvETito Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Meters per second. It's scaled up to 300m/s and the scale is not linear as with the radioaltimeter. "See, to me that's a stupid instrument. It tells what your angle of attack is. If you don't know you shouldn't be flying." - Chuck Yeager, from the back seat of F-15D at age 89. =RvE=
