stray cat Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Is using the mouse for aiming broken on the flexisight and door gunners? I recall it working 6 months ago and the manual says it is supposed to work

If you disable TIR aiming, you can only use the keyboard for moving the sights. To be able to use the mouse, "TIR aiming" (should be better called "Aiming by camera movement" or so) must be enabled, but to actually be able to properly use the mouse, pausing TIR is necessary. And ofc mouse view must be enabled with, i think, LALT+c (otherwise you only click in your cockpit). Then it's like your typical FPS. Convoluted, but workable.

Flagrum Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 May I ask how you disable/enable TIR aiming? What's the hotkeys for it? The hotkey for pausing TIR is configured within the TIR software. "TIR aiming" is an option under Options -> Special -> Huey and can only be enabled/disabled outside of a running mission.
