The pilot disengages this mode by using the Autopilot disengage button (PS4).If Recovery is activatet i'm unable to move the stick. It is currently implemented as an attitude / altitude hold mode, while you are correct that small stick movements are allowed during use in the real aircraft. It is planned for inclusion very soon.
