Random Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Have been unable to find an actual switch to drop the ventral tank. Though mousing over the gauge ehind the stick sometimes shows a tooltip for it. It seems tocgange location as pilots head moves.
Buzzles Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 It's on the stick. May I suggest you RTFM? :) Page 51. Fancy trying Star Citizen? Click here!
Fishbreath Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 More precisely, it's on the front of the stick, the pinky button on your average American-style flight stick. Buzzles Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 How about telling us what the key binding is. I couldn't find it in the control setup. Ta. Under the Engine subsection: Drop Centre Fuel Pod = rctrl + pageup Fancy trying Star Citizen? Click here!
ff4life4 Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 There is a bug already reported where sometimes you can't click on the recovery button or the center jettison. Key bindings still work
Random Posted September 23, 2014 Author Posted September 23, 2014 Thanks. Glad it was user error rather than a bug :)
eyusuf Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Under the Engine subsection: Drop Centre Fuel Pod = rctrl + pageup Wouldn't it make more sense to map this with all the other jettison key bindings. For some reason they've differentiated 'drop' for fuel and jettison for weapons. I would suggest sticking with 'jettision' and just drop the 'drop' :music_whistling:
Random Posted September 23, 2014 Author Posted September 23, 2014 Would certainly make it easier to find!
