Ok, let's say I have A-D marked tanks as targets and my mavricks are slaved to Marker A since Mark A is my current HUD waypoint. I fire a mavrick. Now I'm ready to slave Marker B, but I need to switch to HUD as SOI press DMS Forward once to change waypoint to Mark B, switch back to MAV as SOI, press China Hat Forward Long to slave the new Mav to Marker B, then fire.

Is it possible to switch between markers without having to make HUD as SOI? Just to remove this extra step? I'm trying to engage multiple targets with Mavs as fast as possible.

Just press the steerpoint rocker switch on the left side of the UFC with your mouse. That way, you don't have to make the HUD SOI.

I thought about that, but the time it takes to switch my hand from either the keyboard or joystick to the mouse and accurately click the switch, it would have been quicker to just press U (HUD to SOI). So that doesn't save me any time.

I was hoping there was someway to by-pass pressing U, then "Home" (DMS Forward). But I guess that's the quickest way to do it.

You can also map the commands UFC Steer Up Rocker Switch and Down Rocker Switch to your controller. I have it on my X-52's mouse wheel and it works great for rippling JDAM's on mark points.

That sounds like what I'm looking for, I'll give that a try. Thanks!

I did the same thing but to the chiclet keys on the base of my X-52, which is ideal since there are two that have an up and down arrow over them.

Warning: Nothing I say is automatically correct, even if I think it is.
