Sleeplessmind Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 (edited) Do any of you know how to get the rotary dials on the throttle, to trim the aircraft. I have tried everything and can't figure it out. Do you have to use some sort of macro to get it to bind properly? Edited September 24, 2014 by Sleeplessmind
dom.stb Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 I have those rotaries set to "bands" (in the x55 software) where i move it 5% away from center it acts as a button press, then return to center to stop the button pressing. Really it should be a proper axis but dcs doesn't allow an axis to be used for trim controls afaik.
golani79 Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 You can assign the rotaries to trim axis in DCS but you have to do it under the Axis Commands - under the normal control assignments it only accepts buttons. >> DCS liveries by golani79 <<
FlightControl Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Axis trimming can only be done for a very few aircraft.
