Buckeye Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Yes I understand what you are referring to now. Can't the bracket be used for landing as well...12 degrees on the bracket = 22 uAoA? Thank you. DGC338 Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 (edited) What is the HUD scale then? In the FM it states it is AoA scale? http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=123596 Edited October 11, 2014 by DGC338

DGC338 Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Are you sure? The AoA scale reads incorrectly as per the topic and as per your picture at 21 units.
fitness88 Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 He was looking at the pitch ladder. No, I was looking at the angle of attack scale on the left side of the HUD. What I never noticed was the uAoA on the bottom left of the HUD until I read your post. Thank you. [bold helps me quickly distinguish my reply from the original post when reviewing]
GGTharos Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Ok, I'll check the scale, I keep forgetting about it. If it's showing a different number then it needs fixing. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
DGC338 Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 While checking, ensure that it should only be visible when the gear is down instead of at all times as it (the HUD AoA scale) is presently. See the link to Ivank's post earlier.
