irfanahmed1979 Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 (edited) I've selected the special option for the autopilot for UH1H in the options. In flight even when my weapons are armed and I press LWin A, the autopilot status shows it as off. I can't turn it on manually and also if I switch to the co-pilot or one of the door gunners, even then the autopilot doesn't turn on. The flight manual did state that switching to another position in the cockpit will automatically cause the AI to take control of the helicopter. Anything that I may be missing? Ok, I read the relevant post and found out. It works now Edited September 28, 2014 by irfanahmed1979 CPU: Core i7 7700k, Mobo: GA-Z270x Gaming 7 rev. 1, RAM: 2 x 8GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance 3200 MHz, GPU: Zotac GTX 1060 Amp Edition, SSD: Samsung 850 pro 512 GB, SSD: 2 x Samsung 850 EVO 512 GB (RAID 0), Intel 530 Series 240GB SSD, HDD: WD 2TB Caviar Black, TrackIR 5, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, CH PRO Pedals.

irfanahmed1979 Posted September 29, 2014 Author Posted September 29, 2014 In the options panel, select the special options and then UH1H. If autopilot availability (or something similar) is already selected then deselect it. Exit DCS and restart DCS. Go back to options-> special options-> UH1H and select autopilot available. This time it should work (at least it worked for me). Soulres Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 its a two step mode, first you must select what kind of flight, Altitude Hold,Orbit (i forget the other) basiclly just use Altitude hold. THEN after it says it at the top, you press WindowsKey-A then it should kick on, youll see white boxes take over the controls in the controlsurfacewindow
