Archer7 Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 I’ve thought of something you can do if you’re curious about how much content a module you don’t own has! Download and install it and you can check out how many campaigns, missions and so on a module has as well as check out the wallpaper, music and get all the documentation. You can even enter missions though the aircraft will be AI-controlled apparently.
T_A Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 If you install a module and don't active it , you will get graphics error when trying to fly the aircraft (no cockpit etc.) IAF.Tomer My Rig: Core i7 6700K + Corsair Hydro H100i GTX Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 7,G.Skill 32GB DDR4 3000Mhz Gigabyte GTX 980 OC Samsung 840EVO 250GB + 3xCrucial 275GB in RAID 0 (1500 MB/s) Asus MG279Q | TM Warthog + Saitek Combat Pedals + TrackIR 5 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
cichlidfan Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 If you install a module and don't active it , you will get graphics error when trying to fly the aircraft (no cockpit etc.) No. You will just not be able to enter the cockpit but the graphics will look just fine. You will be a spectator for the mission. This is no different that creating a mission for an AI aircraft that you do not own (or ED does not even sell). You could make a mission for an F-117, and watch it play out, without such a module even existing.
