mig29movt Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Hey there, I'm still reading the manual and to me some parts seem to be badly structured. E.g. The whole cockpit overview concept is very good I think (LV, RH etc.) but after the overview you get every switch thrown at you, some of them not even properly numbered. My suggestion: Leave the images of the whole area exactly like they are but then followed by this (left segment example) -the switch numbers which are visibile (separated) and the name of the sub-segments 45-50. PPS (The list stays the same , just the numbers combined shouldn't be separated) -followed by separate images of the subsegments but with their own list explaining the components of it (subsegments AND instruments) Example: the images of the KPP and NPP should be explained like the PS section and THEN followed by the text (The Attitude Directional Indicator etc. etc.) so you could use the chapter as a quick reference. I was unable to find the layout of the buttons on the throttle (Is it just me?) It would be nice to have every sub-section with their buttons pointed out serartly in this chapter [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Waiting to build a F/A-18C home-pit... ex - Swiss Air Force Pilatus PC-21 Ground Crew SFM? mig29movt Posted October 12, 2014 Author Posted October 12, 2014 (edited) According to the table 7.2 (start-up procedure) step 6: Fire extinguisher on LV36 according to the list following segment L: 35. Fire extinguisher system switch 36. Engine start-up system switch After zooming in really close, I saw one switch was labeled "POSH" while I was looking for the out-written word "POSHAR" In this case it would be extremely helpful to have this segment LV 31-36 pointed out separatly I have tooltips off, and the cockpit labeled in russian (oh the immersion :music_whistling: :smilewink: ) edit: FYI the switches in the lower row are the ones, the one in the back is the APU starter (according to my poor russian knowledge) and the one in the front being the fire extinguisher system Edited October 12, 2014 by mig29movt [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Waiting to build a F/A-18C home-pit... ex - Swiss Air Force Pilatus PC-21 Ground Crew SFM? paleohayduke Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 I agree. My favorite aircraft sim manual for ease of learning has to be the one for Falcon BMS.
