black shark 2 not showing up in steam DCS world

Hi,

 

so a long time back I bought black shark on d2d...then bought the upgrade to bs2 on the ED shop. It was a little bit of a hassle to get it to install and work, but since that time I got a new pc. Now I am trying to install it again, so I used steam to install dcs world...and of course, black shark isn't showing up in there.

 

Any idea what I got to do? I got my serial numbers all ready...is there a link I can download the files from manually perhaps?

 

Same issue actually for UH-H1, I bought that as well and it isn't showing up.

 

Would love to use my steam dcs world since I also have A-10..and I bought that from steam, and that IS showing.

 

Any advice appreciated.

The Black Shark 2 Upgrade cannot be used on Steam.

 

EDIT: If you bought the Huey from ED's shop after 7 June 2014 then Steam will not recognize the key.

Dear all,

 

We learned from Valve/Steam that they will be unable to continue merging DCS keys purchased outside of the Steam Store. As such and as of today, please note that any keys purchased outside of the Steam Store can no longer be used to activate DCS products on Steam.

 

We will be working with Steam to merge all keys purchased prior to today. We can make no promises as to when or if this will happen though… that is out of our hands.

 

Please note though that keys purchased on the Steam store will work on DCS World downloaded from the DCS Store.

ok thanks...so if I dl dcs world from the ED website it'll work from within the app? or will I have to download anything else separately?

You need...

 

DCS World http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/world/dcs_world/

 

Black Shark 1 http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/previous_versions/dcs_black_shark_english/

 

Black Shark 2 Upgrade http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/modules/dcs_black_shark_2_upgrade/

 

Black Shark '1' must be activated before Black Shark 2 can be installed and activated.

 

There are also separate modules for the other aircraft, so you will need the A-10C download as well as any others that you own. You will find all of them listed under the modules tab (actually the first page of where the Black Shark 2 link will take you).
