This controller is listed and recognized within DCS, but when you want to add commands, it only recognizes 1 key out of the 25 possibles in each of the 3 modes. Must I use the Logitech software to use it? Thanks !!

As far as I am aware, you DO need to use the Logitech Gaming Software to program it, but once done it works really well. I have mine primarily set for the Datalink in the KA-50 and then some other functions are set for the second mode (some of the more hard to reach or common tasks like lights etc...)

Spend the time and make your own profile, it really does help.

Yes, Wedge is correct. The G13 does not send out DX signals (with the exception of the little joystick, which is why DCS sees it) like a regular game controller. The keys must be programmed with the commands that you want them to send when pressed.

Yes, I use a G13 for the UFC in A-10C. Very easy to set the commands in the Logitech software. Then if I remember correctly you also need to set the same commands in DCSW Options

Which module are you hoping to use the G13 with IceBurner? If it is the KA-50 I'll put mine up. I just programmed the generic DCS key presses into the G programming software (from the manual), so no need to worry about adding anything to the DCS control scheme.

Hi Wedge, and thank you for your generous offer. I have Ka-50, and would indeed appreciate

it . At the moment, I am trying to learn the A-10C , and trying to maximize my X52

( non-pro ) joystick and G13 and minimize my need for the traditional keyboard.

Again, thanks for your most generous offer, as I am sure you put in quite a few hours tweaking it as you saw fit.

(insert sarcasm here) Countless minutes mate.... It really is just the data link so not too bigger deal. I'll pop a link up later...

Edit: Profile uploaded.... Basic as it can be, but functional. I am SURE there are way better out there!
