Fri13 Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Have been wondered lately how has these different kind target acquisition systems been implemented in DCS. Like now it seems that every unit that has any radar exposes itself to any aircraft that has RWR. And it is as well unfair toward air units as almost any unit with any kind radar is capable to locate targets easily. But same time it started to interest me, how are the different guidance systems made in DCS? Like normal IR-missiles is easy, but how about semi-active command-guided SAM systems? Example: http://www.ausairpower.net/APA-PLA-Div-ADS.html Then it of course became interesting question, is there possible to build a SAM traps for planes without trigger zones, so when specific long range search radar spots target, it would command some SAM to turn their radars on etc? Or have SAM units turn their radars On-Off in turns, randomly etc? i7-8700k, 32GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 2x 2080S SLI 8GB, Oculus Rift S. i7-8700k, 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 1080Ti 11GB, 27" 4K, 65" HDR 4K.
kk0425 Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 Someone made a nice script for DCS. I don't have a link for you but if you search for IADS you should come up with something.
LazerPotatoe Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 "ntegrated Air Defense Script (IADScript) or (IADS) is a script using the DCS Simulator Scripting Engine and MIST to manipulate ground air defense groups to behave like an Integrated Air Defense System. This manipulation helps make air defenses less predictable and more intelligent than default behavior." http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=118175 LP modules: F5-E / A4-E / A-10A / AJS-37 / SA-342 / UH-1H / Ka-50 / Mi-8 / CA would buy: OH-58 /AH-64A / AH-1 / Sepecat Jaguar / F-111
