crazyeddie Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 A few skins I did for Random and his mates, feel free to do with them as you wish: Should be available in a day or two. There appears to be a texture issue with two of the blue underside skins but that was just my PC playing up, they work okay normally I think. 1
crazyeddie Posted November 8, 2014 Author Posted November 8, 2014 Slight cock up on the first post to the upload site, missed out the additional fuel tank and pylon stuff for all the skin files, too busy trying to watch the rugby and do skins at the same time ... not a good idea !!! ... fixed. If by any chance the update does not work let me know and I will upload another version.

merlin851526 Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 How do I install theses skins? thanks in advance. Modules: KA-50, A-10C, FC3, UH-1H, MI-8MTV2, MIG-21bis, FW-190D9, F-86F, MIG-15bis, M-2000C, AJS-37 Viggen , AV-8B Night Attack V/STOL , F-5E Tiger , L-39 Albatros.
crazyeddie Posted November 8, 2014 Author Posted November 8, 2014 (edited) Merlin Its pretty simple: Open your Eagle Dynamics folder, open DCS World, open CoreMods, open aircraft, and in there you should find a folder called F-86, if its not there then you need to get that for starters. Assuming you have done that already: Open F-86, look for a folder called Liveries, if you do not have it create it and drop it in beside the other files. Inside that you will need to create another folder called F-86F Sabre. You just drop these skin files into the F-86F Sabre folder, and they should show up when you run the game. There are loads of F86 skins here, http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/ Some really impressive skins to be found there, my stuff is poor compared to some of the stuff done by others. The first file in your skins folder should be a default skin folder, I have included that in my previous skin files, you need that to make the changed pylon and fuel tanks work, if you do not have it they will all be the original metal colour. crazyeddie Posted November 9, 2014 Author Posted November 9, 2014 Merlin Thinking back to a previous problem, make sure the folder aircraft is spelt correctly and its not aircrafts with an s on the end, the game update some time ago did that and it screwed everyone up for a few days. Other than that I cannot help you, sorry.

It just seems unique to the F86 for some reason I can install liveries for the rest of my aircraft no problem:cry:. One other thing you could try is to drop the F-86F Sabre folder into the Liveries folder inside the Bazar folder, along with all the others, it works either way but not for everyone for some strange reason.
