ruddy122 Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 (edited) Is there a recommended Joystick Sensitivity Settings specific for the new Su-27 Flight Model I'm using Leatherneck's recommended settings for the MiG-21Bis and the Su-27 feels a little more stable. The following recommended settings are documented below Pitch Roll Rudder Deadzone 1-3 1-3 1-5 Saturation X 100 100 100 Saturation Y 100 100 100 Curvature 20-25 10-25 20-25 I used the top limit for Deadzone and Curvature and the Su-27 became more stable, I'm also not using AB as much because it feels the engines are a little bit overpowered. Any thoughts, Lucky Edited November 10, 2014 by ruddy122 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] LUCKY:pilotfly::joystick: Computer Specs CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 6-Core 3.4 GHz| GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 6Gb | RAM: 32 GB DDR4 @ 3000 MHz | OS: Win 10 64 bit | HD: 500 Gb SSD
SilentGun Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 it really depends on the stick your using. I have a Logitech extreme 3d pro and my settings are: Pitch Roll Rudder Deadzone 1-5 1-5 1-5 Saturation X 100 100 100 Saturation Y 100 100 100 Curvature 32, 32, 16 Link to my Imgur screenshots and motto http://imgur.com/a/Gt7dF One day in DCS... Vipers will fly along side Tomcats... Bugs with Superbugs, Tiffy's with Tornado's, Fulcrums with Flankers and Mirage with Rafales... :)The Future of DCS is a bright one:)
BitMaster Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 It's always a give and a take when you apply curves, what you give her you have to take from elsewhere. I am almost always using 33% degression on any AC I fly, be it Sim or R/C, but this SU makes me believe I should try straight axis with deadzones only. It demands such quick aileron on slow flyby that I think any depression is a step back when under 450 IAS,..... but a gain at supersonic preciseness, aka deploying bomblets with 1100km/h over a runway, you want a very stable and smooth stick when aiming for that strip. The best would be a degression/progression that changes with IAS or throttle position ( maybe with a delay ). I am not aware that any present stick can be programmed that way. What a pity, any R/C transmitter for 100 bucks can do it these days so its not that you can't get it built into a joystick logic.
