Looking for help in Dallas, TX Area

FC3'ers -

 

I'm a confused, frustrated, owner of an FC3 system, and I cannot, for the life of me, get the damned thing to work with TrackIR 5 and my joystick system, which is an older Thrustmaster. I've tried everything - cabled mice and keyboards, new motherboards, reinstallations of software, all of it.

 

I need help. Is there ANYONE in here who is in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, who would be willing to come out and witness my dilemmas, and help troubleshoot? The builders of my PC are out of options. They all want to play 1st-person shooters, not flight sims. I'll pay for the visits, and heck, I need a flight instructor as well. I've flown DCS all of ONCE since I started this endeavour in December of last year, and I've been through motherboards, SSD's, spoken with tech support for TrackIR, tried to get help from Russia, all to no avail.

Another option to consider would be to get on Teamspeak with a mic and headset and arrange a meeting with someone experienced with troubleshooting DCS issues. Often times a verbal walk through some of the basic issues is sufficient. We have all felt your pain in one way or another considering the many variables involved with hardware and software compatibility.

As long as your system is capable of going ONLINE I am willing to sponsor a few hours remote service to get your Win-Installation to top notch condition first and THEN move on to DCS and peripheral devices like Joysticks and Track-IR etc...

BTW, if you happen to have an iOS device like iPhone etc we can do FaceTime with Camera so you can show the guts of the PC to me. Sometimes the problem is "hardwired"
