Menu lock-ups

Well, this is some bug ive seem from day one (1.00), and still exists on FC. When i press what ever button on menu screen, the button stays pressed down, and nothing happends. Now any key on keyboard wont respond to my commands, resulting to boot from reset button on chassis. Previously i had this same bug, but only with "options" button, but now its in everybutton, so i cant reach options from different menu leaf, like i used to. What should i do to this BUG?

 

And my defense, the game worked fine after i installed seasonal packs over 1.12a donwload version. I can only press "FLY" buttons on thumbnails.

do you have a joystick or any other devices attached? If you disconnect them do you still encounter the problem?

 

I'm just trying to help isolate the issue since I haven't had that happen to me before.

Do you have a software firewall installed? I may be misinterpreting what you're saying but this sounds like what once happened to me. It wasn't that LOMAC/FC was locked up. Rather it was the firewall (ZoneAlarm) stopping everything while it waited for me to okay internet access for LOMAC/FC. Trouble was, the box wasn't where I could see it. So it appearred like the computer had locked up. The solution was to open the firewall software and manually tell it that LOMAC/FC was okay. After that, no problems.

It seems it was caused by softaware firewall, even though i removed lock-on.exe there after flaming cliffs install and put it back there, AND after game started Norton Internet Security asked me if i was willing to let this exe log on internet.

Well, i had similar experiences day before with Battlefield 2, with same procedure. Maybe my computer is little moody.. Have to do thing many times over and over again.
