CmdrJameson Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Hi! There's a lot of great information out on flying the Ka-50, but I found that I easily forget the specifics in high-stress situations or simply when I've been away from the sim for a while. I ended up distilling the information that's been most useful to me so far into a quick reference page that I've printed out and keep beside me when flying. I had to cut a lot of stuff to make it fit, but what's there is usually enough to get me through a mission. In case you could use such a thing too, here it is: http://nanosleep.org/wiki/DCS_Quick_Reference Enjoy! 1

CmdrJameson Posted December 4, 2014 Author Posted December 4, 2014 Something like this will also help you to remember HOTAS mappings: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=119086 Nice! I've mapped very few functions to my X-52 Pro (just flying with defaults + trim so far) because I haven't memorized the button numbering -- and it's a pain going backwards from the settings display (now where is button 7 again...?). I've also had to find out what extra functions are useful to map first. Like ... flares, maybe :) I'll print me one of those and start filling it in. Thank you.
