I was posting this in a thread over at the general multiplayer board but it will most likely get overlooked there. Things I've tried from reading other threads to try solve the issue:

 

1. Flush DNS

2. Check firewall exceptions for DCS.

3. Disable firewall

4. Disable anti-virus

5. Delete cookie.txt in appdata local DCS folder

6. Run tracert on digitalcombatsimulator.com - Working as intended

7. Check if I can log in on digitalcombatsimulator.com - I can log in

8. Check if I can log in to the module manager in DCS - I can't log in

9. Deleted DCS savegame folders

 

So yeah no idea what to do now, as I've never had this problem before. It's ever since I updated to 1.2.12. Both DCS and DCS OpenBeta can't login. I manually reverted back to V1.2.11 and that didn't help.

Could I get anymore help here? I've tried some more things such as re-installing the open beta but it didn't help which I assumed wouldn't.

 

According to one of coffs previous posts it has to be something blocking the exe or something like that, because I can log into dcs.com perfectly fine, but I just can't think of what it could be.

 

I've run a traceroute on master.eagle.ru and it times out at 1 to 2 points. Perhaps it's an issue with my ISP?

*Update*

 

I quickly opened a free adsl account with another local ISP and everything connects normally as before. So I supposed it's time to call my ISP.

Are you sure the servers have been updated to 1.1.12?

 

It may seem obvious, but the updates isn't 72 hours old yet, and it may be to blame. I do know the RAF Air server is up to date, so try that one and see what happens there.

Can't connect too. Always says "Can't connect to master server"

If you've tried most of the things I tried in my first post then your problem may be down to your ISP having connection issues to the RU master server which was the cause of my problem.

Hi All.

 

For those of you struggling with the could not connect to master issue, I've been battling with this one for the last 10 days. From Format, to port forward, to calls to my ISP, to removing firewalls and antiviruses.

 

I might have a solution.

Someone on one of the forums posted something about the time on your pc being wrong. I tried syncing my time in windows with online time but it didn't work, untill........

 

On the DCS website:

Click Personal Section;

Under the "Auto Time Zone"drop down box, select the "Yes, use browser settings"

 

This fixed my headache. I hope it works for you all. Report back if it does.
