heinzknocke Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Morning Not been around long but loving the su25 been learning loads fooled around with the Mig 29's thought I'd have a go with the F15 last night but there appears to be a problem with the hud it doesn't look like the HUD in the manual or any that ive seen on you tube tracks etc. Mine appears to be to big for the glass if you watch the track below you'll see what I mean. Help please Many Thanks Heinzf15 hud problem.trk
Retu81 Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 (edited) Nothing wrong with the HUD itself. Your virtual pilot just sits too far back. Numpad 5 resets the view position to default. HUD graphic is projected at infinity, so it always remains the same "size". When you lean back from the HUD glass, the graphic seems to get too big to fit the frame, when in reality the apparent size of the frame is the one that is getting too small. :) Edited December 6, 2014 by Retu81
Davis0079 Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 (edited) This is a tutorial more then a mod...it will help you set up all of your cockpits... http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=96116 when you first buy or fly a new module the first thing you need to do is setup your controls, next is your view ingame....I have to do this for every airframe. Mainly the head position and zoom Heres the lines that will probably help the most __________________________________________________________________________ (Yes - I know how hard it is for some of you to look it up your own in the options ...) Disable/Pause your Track-IR/Head-tracker while doing it ! "Num/ - RCtrl - RShift" Cockpit Camera Move Back "Num5" Cockpit Camera Move Center "Num2 - RCtrl - RShift" Cockpit Camera Move Down "Num* - RCtrl - RShift" Cockpit Camera Move Forward "Num8 - RCtrl - RShift" Cockpit Camera Move Up "Num8" Turn Cockpit Camera Up "Num2" Turn Cockpit Camera Down "Num/" FOV- aka Zoom-in "Num*" FOV+ aka Zoom-out "NumEnter" Default FOV aka Zoom Once you are satisfied , after using above key-commands, just use following key-command to save this view as default: "RAlt+Num0" Save current Cockpit view as default for this vehicle __________________________________________________________ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ the RAlt+Num0 is the magic button that saves it all....just make sure in your options you have the "Enable User Snap-View Saving" checked and then go set up your view for all your planes....remember, moving your VR head back against the seat is different then the camera zoom..adjust these two things till your satisfied . Edited December 6, 2014 by Davis0079 It only takes two things to fly, Airspeed and Money.
