Before removing the large spring from your TH Warthog stick...

Recommended Posts

Consider doubling up on the (4) small springs instead. I did this mod today and the tension and feel are literally perfect, far superior to how it felt without the center spring or pre-mod.

I still think an extension is a better solution than changing springs.

Have you done any lube work on it as well? Or have you kept the lube as is?

No lube required as there's absolutely no stiction with this stick. My understanding is that that particular issue varies from stick to stick. I seem to have lucked out.

When i tell you that the feel is perfect, I'm not exaggerating. All it took was about $1.50 in springs from the local hardware store and 5 mins to install them. Can't hurt to try as the process is completely reversible.
