Witchking Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 (edited) Hi guys, I was having issues with the CCIP line not becoming solid even at a 70 degree drop angle. I tried repeating it in other aircraft, even the A-10C and it seems fine. Also...is there a bug with using CBU 97 with A-10A? No matter what.. the line does not become solid. However, with Mk82s, the line has become solid once in all the times I tried at 80 degree angle from 10000 ft. It seems like the CCIP logic needs tuning? or am I missing something on how to properly use it? thanks V Edit... I was trying it again.. at one point...the line was still dashed. But when I switched to cannon and then switched back...it turned to a solid line. I have same issue with CCIP mode when using the Mk82air bombs and probably applies to the CBU as well, as they use little parachutes as well (high drag). but from your angle and height I wouldn't have thought that would be the problem, but when you switched to guns, you probably cycled into CCRP mode as well. Witchking Posted December 12, 2014 Author Posted December 12, 2014 Ya...but CCRP is useful only with A-10C..but CCIP is a lot better for moving targets. Unfortunately it seems like I need to re-learn my bomb drops. Interestingly way easier in the A-10C than the A-10A.
