ozTRipwiRE Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Hi, I am trying to set up the A10C Helios profile by CapLoz on a Viewsonic TD2420 touchscreen and have run into a problem which I really would appreciate some help with. I have been following the guide by DerekM and have managed to get the gauges such as the altimeter etc working in the sim but when I press on my touchscreen (the MFCD buttons for example) it is not being recognised by the DCS A10C sim as a press on those buttons. When touching on a MFCD OSB button on the touchscreen, for example, it does not register as a click on that button in the sim. All that happens is that I see a cursor corresponding to the general area I am pressing on the touchscreen on my main TV that I am using as a primary monitor. I see no cursor on my touchscreen. This cursor is a very long way from the OSB buttons for example that I am pressing and moves left when I move my finger left etc. I have been able to change some toggle switches using the touchscreen but only by moving that cursor on my TV over the switch and then lifting my finger up and pressing the touchscreen in that position, which is a long way from the relevant switch on my touchscreen. It is so far that I don't believe it could be just my touchscreen being inaccurate. I obviously want to be able to use the touchscreen properly in flying this sim so can anyone please tell me what to do to get this Helios profile to properly recognise my touches on my touchscreen so that when I press on a switch or push a button on my touchscreen it will flip that switch or push that button in the sim and not just act like a second mouse on my main TV. I tried running Helios Control Center as administrator but this did not fix this. This is my first time working with Helios and I really would appreciate any help. I looked around the Helios Profile Editor but could not find a way to change this. LiveBait Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Have a look at Gadrocs directions for setting up a touchscreen monitor, pretty sure that it will sort you out. http://www.gadrocsworkshop.com/node/48
ozTRipwiRE Posted December 16, 2014 Author Posted December 16, 2014 Hi LiveBait, Thanks for that link, problem solved. OZTRIPWIRE
Treudd Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 I also had this problem with one touchscreen and two projectors. I had to rearrange so that the touchscreen was first in order (top left) within the AMD desktop manager. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
