selev Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Anyone know why the undercarrige lights flash sometimes? E.G: Take off and gear up, red indicator flashing, on landing approach gear down, two greens flashing. On landing there is no collapsed gear or any problems at all, so it seems that the flashing has nothing to do with a gear fault. This does not happen all the time, most times there are solid reds and greens. Nothing in the manual, nothing on forum search :huh:

I think the battery gets drained. I've notice this flashing myself. One question, is the gunsight flashing as well as the gear indicator? Any electrical load placed on the battery at a time when the generator is not producing enough power, i.e. low RPM, should drain the battery. Would be interesting to see if the battery is recharged once it's hooked up to ground power. Zooker Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 The kneeboard definitely trips the gen c.b. and the battery c.b. They seem to be tripped when the kneeboard is closed after trying to change the page of the kneeboard with "[" and "]". Once the kneeboard is closed the breakers wont go back in until the kneeboard is opened again. Very odd and definitely a bug. selev Posted December 20, 2014 Author Posted December 20, 2014 Yep, your right there Zooker, same with me as well, Kneeboard and corresponding [ + ] keys are the culprits, it seems to have been picked up on bug reporting already !
iFoxRomeo Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 The flashing lights were there from the first release. Increase the cockpit lighting then after a while you will see that flickering too. I wanted to wait with a bug report till one or two patches, but even with the newest open beta this bug is still there.
